A mix of classic Scandinavian design and traditional  green woodworking techniques. A chair made for the love of shaping wood by hand.

The chair parts were made using only hand tools and green woodworking techniques. All parts were shaped right after the locally growing tree was cut. Then the parts were dried until the right moisture content and joined together using mortice and tenon joints. A method that takes advantage of the natural shrinkage of fresh wood and makes glue excess.

The rear legs and backrest was steam bent before the drying prosess.

A nightstand/ stool and a shoe-shelf were made as test pieces for the green woodworking methods.
